Episode 6 – How to Build a Raving Fan Base with Social Media

Are you frustrated that your fans aren’t engaging enough with your social media posts?
Would you love to learn how to build a raving fan base that love and buy from you?

IMG_7031 copyOn today’s episode we get to chat with fashion/home-ware retailer Amanda Jane from Eclectica who shares with us some great lessons around why it doesn’t pay to be controversial on social media. Amanda also shares her eclectic approach (pardon the pun) to building a loyal social media community.

We’ve got a great tech tool, to share later in the show that will reduce your need to have large hard drives and massive virtual private networks (VPNs) in your business.

But first, sit back and enjoy episode 6 of SME TV!

Ok so what did we learn from this week’s episode:

1.    Personalise your posts. People buy from people they know, like and trust.
2.    Make your posts attractive with intriguing photos that tell a story and tease your followers
3.    Respond to all comments and posts, left by your community. If people have gone out of their way to engage with your brand, its important you respect them by responding in a timely manner.

Well that’s it from SME TV this week and in fact that’s it for 2014. Thank you so much for tuning in this year and we look forward to bringing episode 7 to you on 4th February 2015.

If you can’t live without SME TV over the Xmas holidays, be sure to go and subscribe to our YouTube Channel where you can go back and watch previous episodes!

Now if you’d like to keep the conversation going, head on over to our Facebook Page and hit us up for a chat! Sharing is caring so if you loved this episode, be sure to share it with your peeps!
None of this would be made possible without our wonderful guests and generous sponsors, in particular The Geelong Chamber of Commerce.

On behalf of myself and my partners, The Object who are responsible for producing this incredible show, we want to thank you, our viewers for tuning in and supporting SME TV.

So until next year, may your social media news be full of Xmas cheer, bye for now!
